New picture, 85 pounds lost!

I thought I would post a new picture since I lost ten more pounds! I have lost 85 pounds from my weight loss surgery, which I had 5 months ago on the 18th. I always like to post new weight loss pictures next to my before surgery picture to remind me of how far I have come.

My scars from Gastric Bypass Surgery

I have had a lot of people ask me about the size of the incisions and scars left after my Gastric Bypass weight loss surgery, so I thought I would show everyone. You can see the staples over the surgery incisions in a picture taken 3 days after the surgery. The other picture is what my scars look like 4 1/2 months after the surgery. The marks are pretty small and only the two bigger marks in the center are very noticeable.

My asthma symptoms have lessened from losing weight

I know I have been slacking and not writing lately but I was sick and it was all I could do to go to work, take a shower and get in bed. I got a head cold that was going around work and before the surgery my asthma was so bad I would have been on heavy antibiotics or in the hospital with bronchitis or worse. After losing 80 pounds my lungs were strong enough to get better even without steroids and antibiotics. My asthma symptoms have lessened and my doctor even lowered the dose of one of my asthma medicines. I have currently lost 85 pounds from my gastric bypass weight loss surgery and now that my cold is gone and I can get back to the gym, I feel GREAT!!
